A Few Things We Do

Greetings, and thank you for visiting our blog dedicated to plant-based eating and living.
Throughout my journey, I’ve encountered many people who were unfamiliar with this lifestyle
and had questions. “What do you eat?” is the most common, but I’ve also been asked about protein (the top concern by far), vaccinations, substitutes for various ingredients, and ways to introduce plant-based eating to a family very accustomed to eating the Standard American Diet. As a result, we have created several businesses with the very purpose of educating and assisting with creating and maintaining a life free of animal products.
Like Mom’s Only Vegan is a bakery specializing in cruelty-free baked goods with the taste and
texture of conventional goodies. LMOV was started in 2015 at the encouragement of friends and family
who insisted that they could barely taste the difference between their snacks and ours. We are currently
delivering to our Cincinnati area customers, and we ship nationwide. Visit our website at
To Be Vegan & Black’s vision for our website, social media platforms, and community is to be a
vegan home base for information and inspiration that is relevant to the Black community and diaspora.
The mission of To Be Vegan & Black is to highlight the culinary aspects of Black culture through a vegan lens. We are interested in building and strengthening Black food culture through Veganism by promoting and educating on plant-based options. We desire to understand and retain the core values of Black culinary culture without erasing these core values or their cultural significance. Visit
https://tobeveganandblack.weebly.com/ to connect and to check out the merch.
On Etsy, the Vegan Colored Glasses shop currently has one item, but we have intentions to expand with merch and recipe printables. The “Guide to Veganism” is an informative packet for the newer vegan about food sources for a variety of essential vitamins and minerals. There are also several easy-to-follow recipes that we have enjoyed in our home for years. Visit our Etsy shop at https://vegancoloredglasses.etsy.com.
Lastly, Becoming Health and Life Coaching. This has been many years in the making. I received
my certification in Health and Life Coaching in 2019, right after giving birth to my 6 th child. This year,
Becoming will be accepting new clients for life coaching as well as coaching for those looking to adopt
healthier habits and/or a plant-based diet.
The world is constantly changing and evolving, as we are here at Vegan Colored Glasses. We
recognize that, while our journeys may look different, we are all on our own paths to self-discovery and
self-improvement which may require that we give guidance, or even seek guidance. If we can be of
service to you, please reach out. That’s why we do what we do.
